jt's project
For my college personal project, I chose something simple yet deeply grounding — gardening. I focused on basic but essential tasks like digging, watering, and daily plant care. The goal wasn’t to build an elaborate garden but to understand the natural growth process and experience the peaceful rhythm of working with the earth. Each small action, from turning soil to keeping the plants hydrated, became a reminder of how consistent care can lead to meaningful results.
Through this hands-on experience, I learned the value of patience and routine. Gardening taught me that progress doesn’t always show immediately, but with time and attention, growth is inevitable. It was a refreshing break from screens and deadlines, giving me space to reflect and reconnect with nature. What started as a simple project ended up being a quiet but powerful lesson in mindfulness, responsibility, and the slow beauty of growth.
